The ideal applicant will have a can do attitude and can have a combination of public/private accounting background, exposure to non profit financial operations and be GAAP proficient. All public accounting background is OK. CPA++ This person will be responsible for reviewing general ledger accounts and correcting journal entries; performing account analysis and reconciliations, including bank statements and inter-company general ledger accounts; maintaining the general ledger chart of accounts; conducting internal control evaluations; posting monthly, quarterly, and yearly accruals; and preparing journal entries. Additional duties include assisting in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and yearly financial statements and investigating accounting issues on an as needed basis.
